Membership: Girls Ages 5-17
Every girl
between the ages of 5 and 17 can be a Girl Scout. There are two
easy ways to begin enjoying the benefits provided by GSMD, a premier
girl-advocacy organization for Wayne and Oakland counties:
-
Join a troop/group with a group of girls and a
couple of adults in your area.
First, check
with your child’s school or your place of worship to determine if a
troop currently meets there.
Request to Join
online or download a form at left and return it to the Girl Scout
office to begin the registration process.

As an Adult Member, or
volunteer - spending an hour, a
day, or more making a difference in girl’s lives. You can even
become a supporter of girls in a monetary capacity.
GSMD has an
ongoing need for qualified adult members,
with opportunities fitting the interests, time and skills of everyone.
Please call the
Volunteer Resource Center at (313) 326-0309, X2244 to embark on a
meaningful journey with Girl Scouts of Metro Detroit. Visit our
