High Ropes Course

The Innisfree High Ropes course is a system of 16 elements that are variously secured 20 to 30 feet above the ground. Each element is designed to challenge the participants and their friends in a true test of body, mind and spirit. The final thrill of the high ropes course is the Zip Line, upon which participants fly along a steel cable through the woods more than 100 feet to the dismount. The High Ropes Course was designed and built by Experiential Resources Inc. (ERI) of Bloomington, Indiana, one of the leading designers and builders of challenge equipment in the nation.

To make a reservation, please call 313- 972-4475, ext. 2226.

Low Challenge Course

The Low Challenge course contains 14 elements at the ground level, which focus on the development of teamwork skills such as listening, leadership, cooperation, patience and inclusiveness. One part of the low course, the “Challenge Walk,” was designed specifically for younger girls, and simulates some of the elements typically found on a high ropes course. The low course also includes a “Bouldering Wall,” simulating a rock climbing activity, which challenges participants to climb across instead of up.  The Low Challenge course was designed and built by Experiential Resources Inc. (ERI), one of the leading designers and builders of challenge equipment in the nation.

To make a reservation, please call 313- 972-4475, ext. 2226.

Equestrian Center, Farm Barn & Animal Science

There are many opportunities for individual girls and troops or groups to participate in horse-riding activities throughout the year.  Visit the Equestrian Center page for information on program offerings.

Summer Camp Programs

Each year, we offer dozens of great camping experiences for girls! Visit again in early 2009 for program information. You can even register online!

Troop Camping Opportunities

One of the great experiences a girl can have is to go away with the other girls in her Girl Scout Troop or Group to a special place to play, learn, talk, giggle, eat, sleep and generally have a lot of fun. Troops may take advantage of Outdoor Program services, such as swimming, canoeing, nature classes, archery, challenge courses, horseback riding, crafts, orienteering and much more or do activities on their own. Food service is also available!

For information or reservations, please call 313- 972-4475, ext. 2226.
